One Saturday morning, down a road I'd never driven, was a cut through to this cornfield. With paint and brush, I could not have created an image that would have done as much to take me back to the mornings of my childhood and the sunrise after a rainy night over the corn.
Eric Towell is originally from Beaufort County, North Carolina. He first began taking, developing and printing black and white pictures for the yearbook staff at Bath High School, and he continued these duties as a student at Mount Olive College. After a very long hiatus from photography, he is back and working to capture the beauty of sunrises and sunsets near his home in Tarboro, NC. Eric also DJs and runs karaoke shows in his spare time, and, on the second Saturday night of each month, he runs the All-Request Treasure Chest online featuring 60s, 70s and 80s music from 7-11pm Eastern at www.allrequesttreasurechest.com.
